cooler. it is actually going to feel more like september. -- gwen is in for tuckerthiss morning. as can you see, clear skies across the area. we have a canadian ridge of high pressure that is building in, compliments of my country folk there. it is a cool ridge of high pressure. we are seeing pretty cool conditions as we start out this morning. just the odd cloud skirting around. not too much to be concerned with at all. 57degrees at national airport. it is only 58 in baltimore and 55 at gaithersburg. but we've got 61 degrees to the south as far as manassas is concerned and 66 degrees at fredericksburg. we'll continue to be on the cool side. so be prepared. today, as i said, much keeler than it was yesterday. we are talking mild and breezy. -- much cooler than it was yesterday. we are talking gusty winds in the course of this afternoon. be prepared for that. they will be gusting at least up to about 20 to 25 miles per hour. 75 by the time we hit midday and 78 by 4:00. what a far cry from yesterday where we were actually 96 degrees. >> big change. thank you so much. >>> we want to take a

on september 28th. meanwhile turks open. roger federer moving on. mrs. federer sitting with gwen. enjoying a mint, hanging out. a match. in the near court. robin with the weak return. and he puts it away easily. his wife' name, clapping. federer takes the first step. he is 181 and 6 when he wins the first set. he was absolutely dominant. passing shot right there. the third set. now federer in the far court, taking advantage of mistakes by soderling. federer with the little drop shot, coming up. he said just forget about it. you're not even going to get that one. don't worry about it one bit. the match point. soderling is irate. what i am a going to do with this guy? this is like the federer of old. he ends it with a pair of aces. he advances to a seventh straight u.s. open semifinal. 6-4, 6-4 and 7-5 getting a standing ovation from everybody. >> i love that. >> kind of relieved. >> a rough time of it this year. >> thank you. coming up, the battle of the fans. >>> a new survey that ranks the most popular team. >> some redskins fans won't be too happy. according to neilsen, the dallas cowboy
